This song debuted in the film Despicable Me 2, and since gotten a lot of buzz, including a 24 hour long music video, and now getting radio play and peaking the top spots in the Billboard charts. It could also be the fact that Pharell himself had gotten a lot of attention with his hat! The video showcases various and diverse people dancing along to the song, and also has appearances from other celebrities like Steve Carell, Magic Johnson, and of course, the Minions!
