Video: SoMo – Ride

Ok … So SoMo has been getting some good buzz, especially in the female community. Now I’m a fan of RnB, but for some reason I just can’t get into SoMo. There is something about his voice that is off to me. Maybe a hint of auto-tune in this track? Not sure what it is, I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe its his “personality” that is portrayed through his media coverage? I just don’t know. Don’t get me wrong, its good, but just a hair short of being great in my opinion. Maybe I just need time for it to grow on me….

Either way, I will support this record, and of course play it for the masses, especially since the buzz is there! You can definitely catch it in my mixes this weekend on KS 107.5.
