Rihanna Four Five Seconds Music Video

Rihanna releases the official Four Five Seconds Music video. Rihanna teams up with Kanye West and Paul McCartney for this mild and chill track which is the single to her 8th studio album. It’s certainly a different direction than we’re used to seeing from RiRi, or Kanye for that matter. Instead of patron shots and strip clubs, she’s taken a more somber approach with this song. Some have stated that it could represent personal troubles, heart break or redemption. According to EOnline.com, some think this is a new Rihanna we’re seeing. A Rihanna that is growing up. As Seija Rankin from E! states,

“FourFiveSeconds” certainly isn’t about book clubs and prayer circles, but it’s definitely less, shall we say, literal. Rihanna still wants to party, but it’s more sick-and-tired-of-being-sick-and-tired and less all-tequila-all-the-time. She’s complicated and multi-facted now!

Even the fashion in the video is minimalistic for both Kanye and Rihanna.

Whether we’re seeing a new Rihanna surface, or just a new persona for this song, I think we’re all excited to hear some new music from RiRi.
