Back in June, I took a little trip down south. I got booked to DJ in Dallas and was on my way to a new city with my music! While I was there, I was able to link up with a heavy hitter in the radio, mix, and nightlife scene, DJ Quickmixx Rick.
Ricardo Cano, better known as DJ Flashback has a long history of music in his family! Hearing stories of his father DJing for neighborhood parties back in the motherland, Mexico, made Flashback become interested in the music scene. He had a great teacher from the very beginning, his dad. At a very early age, he learned to mix music with help from his dad. Since his dad and family were very much into music, he had a plethora of music and genres to develop his taste. Like many of us, he was able to scrounge up enough money to buy his equipment and start playing at local parties.
DJ Corona, esta loca!!! I first met miss Corona when she was on the come up. I think at that time, which was a couple years back, she didn’t have a mix or anything that I could post about to support her. Now, she’s taking over the scene in Sin City!
